Table Talk — the daily game where you try to match your family
Answer the way your family would. Tomorrow, find out who said the same thing.
What it is
Table Talk is the one game in Streakhouse that is about your circle rather than a puzzle. Each day brings a prompt — the kind of thing you would ask around the dinner table — and you answer the way you think your family will. Answers stay hidden until the circle’s day closes, so nobody can copy.
How to play
- Tap one of the suggested answers, or use your own words.
- Lock in your answer.
- Come back tomorrow to see who matched — the reveal groups everyone’s answers together.
How scoring works
You get 25 points for every circle-mate who said the same as you, up to 100, worked out once the day closes. Answers are matched forgivingly, so capital letters, a leading “the” and simple plurals don’t split a match. If you are the only one in your circle who played, you are matched against a pool of common answers instead. Table Talk is just for fun: its points don’t count toward the circle’s daily total.
A worked example
An invented example, not a real day’s prompt.
The prompt is “Name a road-trip snack.” You go with pretzels. The next day the reveal shows that you, Grandpa and your sister all said pretzels, your brother said trail mix and Mom said grapes. Two circle-mates matched you: 50 points.
Why it works across generations
There is no right answer, so nobody is ever out of their depth. Table Talk rewards knowing each other — which is exactly what a family has — and the reveal is a conversation starter for the next time you are all at the same table.
How it fits the family streak
Table Talk comes after the five scored games as the day’s just-for-fun slot; circles set up as friends rather than family get Who’s Most Likely? in the same slot instead. A Table Talk answer on its own doesn’t count you as having played for the streak — that takes one of the five scored games — so it can only ever add to the fun. The share card says you’ve made your pick, never what it was.
