Frequently asked questions

Streakhouse in short: six original daily games, five minutes a day, one streak your family keeps alive together.

Is Streakhouse a restaurant?

No. Streakhouse is one word — streak + house — and it is a family daily-games app, not a steakhouse. It is six short original games a day that a small private circle of family or friends plays together to keep one shared streak alive.

Is Streakhouse free?

Yes. Streakhouse is free on the web, iPhone, iPad and Android, with no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscription.

What games are in Streakhouse?

Six original daily games: Rewind (trivia across the decades), Ballpark (estimation), Fireside (a flame-placement logic puzzle), Compass (find five cities on the globe), Sizzle (a five-letter word game) and Table Talk (a prompt where you try to match your family). The first five are scored; Table Talk is just for fun.

How long does it take each day?

A few minutes. Each game is built to be finished in under three minutes, and most families play the whole set in one sitting — though you can spread the games across the day.

How does the shared streak work?

Your circle’s streak grows by one each night that enough members have played at least one scored game. That number is the quorum: it starts at half the circle (and at least two people), and any member can change it. A circle’s day closes at midnight for its last member, so a family spread across time zones still gets a full day.

What happens if we miss a day?

There are three safety nets. Free passes: the circle earns one for every seventh night in a row it keeps the streak, can hold two, and one is used automatically to hold the streak on a short night — though never two nights running. Freezes: each member can hold up to three, any member can grant one to someone else, and a freeze covers a particular person who couldn’t play. And if the streak does break, the circle can earn it back: reach quorum on each of the next two days with everyone playing at least two games, and the old streak is restored.

Can I play on the web, iPhone and Android?

Yes. Play in any modern browser at streakhouse.app with nothing to install, or get the app for iPhone and iPad from the App Store or for Android from Google Play. It is the same games, the same circle and the same streak everywhere; sign in to carry your account from one device to another.

Do I need an account?

No sign-up is needed. Streakhouse creates a private account on your device the moment you start playing — no email address, no password. Signing in with Apple, Google or an email link is optional, and exists so your streak and circle survive a new phone or a second device.

What does Streakhouse do with my data?

Streakhouse has no ads and no advertising trackers, and never sells your personal information. You can play without giving an email address, nothing in Streakhouse is public, and you can delete your account and its data yourself from inside the app at any time. The details are in the privacy policy.

How do I start a circle and invite my family?

Tap Start playing: Streakhouse suggests a name for you and for your circle, and you can keep them or change them. Then share your circle’s invite link, or its six-character code, from the app. Anyone who opens the link joins your circle, on the web or in the app. A circle holds up to 12 people.
